The Sea Heart Foundation
“You can do anything if you have
both a purpose and a reason – I have both.”
‘Captain’ Robert McDonald,
founder
The Sea Heart Foundation is an
international children’s project. Its goal is to create super
projects with children of all ages, together their parents, and to
make history. With huge doses of creativity and hard work, the
Foundation seeks to generate publicity and fun.
The Sea Heart Foundation is
about letting your creativity help you find solutions to
challenges. More importantly, the Sea Heart Foundation is about
realizing the creative solution. In making these dreams come true,
the Sea Heart Foundation focuses its efforts on getting real and
getting crazy. The point is to have fun while thinking and doing
creatively, all the while working towards achieving a goal.
‘Captain’ Robert McDonald,
Founder and President of the Sea Heart Foundation, undertakes his
world record-breaking projects for one reason only: he does it for
the kids.
Captain Rob spent a long
time in a Shrine's Hospital in the United States after being
burned on over 70% of his body after a gas explosion at his
home. He was a little boy. Lying in bed, with his badly injured arm
suspended over his head, the doctors told him he would never be
able to use the arm again. Wrong, said Captain Rob. He had a purpose
and a reason: he regained use of not only his arm, but his whole
body. Giving up just wasn’t in his nature and ‘you can't ' or
‘you won’t’ just isn’t in his vocabulary. Captain Rob went on to
become a Hollywood stuntman in films. He was inducted into the
Stuntman’s Hall of Fame in 1991. In1987, he received the
Congressional Medal of Honour for helping children.
From the beginning, Captain
Rob used his skills and his motivation to help other children. In
April 1986 Rob Rocked his way once again into the world book by
Rocking in a chair 4.44hours for kids proving nothing is too crazy
to be undertaken and achieve as long as you have a purpose and a
reason, and a willingness to work hard, and incorporate
huge doses of creativity and fun.
The Sea Heart Foundation was
set up to expand the number of projects being undertaken for
children right now, At this time Captain Rob is building
a replica of a Viking ship using 15,000,000 ice cream sticks. His
goal is to take the ship to water and follow the old Viking routes
in Europe and across the Atlantic to the United States.
